The Challenge

Two clients across different verticals were receiving generic monthly reports that listed metrics without connecting them to decisions. Neither team knew which numbers to act on versus which were noise.

The Approach

Standardize a single reporting format that pairs each metric with the decision it should inform: organic sessions tied to specific landing pages, ranking movement tied to specific content updates, and conversion data tied to specific page templates rather than the site as a whole.

The Execution

Built a repeatable Content Whale-format reporting structure pulling from GA4 and Search Console, blending both data sources into one monthly view instead of two disconnected exports. Each report flags what changed, why it likely changed, and what to do next, replacing a plain metrics dump.

The Results

Both clients now receive a monthly report structured around decisions rather than raw numbers, cutting the back-and-forth previously needed to interpret what the data meant for their next content or technical priority.
